Journey Book Campaign: Stock the Shelves Week
This week we do something a little different...

This week we're teaming up with Save Our Seeker to bring you a tie-in campaign to the DVD Drive: Stock the Shelves with Legend of the Seeker!

Instead of contacting TV stations, this week you will be contacting your local Library and major retailers in your area to request that they stock the Legend of the Seeker Season 1 DVD. Our goal is not only to drive up LotS DVD sales, showing the suits that there is profit to be made, but to widen the fanbase and build our numbers.

Unfortunately international fans will not be able to participate in this week's JBC as only the Region 1 DVD is available, so we're asking all international fans to redo Week 4 of the JBC. Those US/Canada fans who wish to continue with the regular JBC as well may also redo Week 4, but we ask that you participate this week as well since this is a very important campaign.

Library Information

Since we can't provide everyone a link to their local Library's website, we ask that once this week you take the time to Google "*Your County and State* Public Library" and find the contact information on their website. If you're lucky, you'll find email information, and/or a contact form. If not, you'll have to call them to make the request. The number should be located on the website, if not try a phonebook or look on Google.

Snail Mail

This is catch-up week for snail mail. Please consider writing to everyone found on Week 4 of the JBC.

Example Letter for Libraries

I'd like to suggest the purchase of the "Legend of the Seeker" DVD set. "Legend of the Seeker: The Complete First Season" is loosely based on the best selling series "The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind. The show is produced by Disney-ABC and has a rapidly growing fan-base. You can also find a DVD review at DVDTalk.com.

Thank you for your attention.

Wrote my local library system ...
"'The Legend of the Seeker' TV show is based on the popular fantasy series "The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind. The Second Season episodes will be released on DVD's in the future as well. The episodes feature strong storylines, heroic characters, and plenty of magic and action."

Hollywood video sent me an e-mail response. They are closing cause they are going bankrupt, so if we do this again we should probably replace them with someone else.
